WIE DIE LIEBE GEHT erzählt die Lebens- und Liebesentwicklungen von vier Paaren in Deutschland über den Verlauf von sieben Jahren. Sie gründen Familien, müssen den Alltag bewältigen, erleben Höhen und Tiefen und durchlaufen lebensentscheidende Momente. Bei einem Paar schlägt das Schicksal unerwartet zu, und übrig bleiben unterschiedliche Formen oder Fragmente von Liebe, auf denen jede und jeder neu aufbauen kann. Dass die Zeit für alle unermüdlich vergeht, stimmt wehmütig, aber auch hoffnungsvoll: Denn die Kinder bleiben und gedeihen und die Zeit kann ja auch Wunden heilen …
WIE DIE LIEBE GEHT ist ein Film über die Möglichkeit und Unmöglichkeit der Liebe. Am Ende ist für alle alles anders als am Anfang.
How love works
“WIE DIE LIEBE GEHT” tells the story of the lives and love developments of four couples in Germany over the course of seven years. They start families, have to cope with everyday life, experience ups and downs and go through crucial moments in their lives. Fate unexpectedly shatters the world of one couple, leaving behind different forms and fragments of love with which both can build a new. The fact that time passes tirelessly for everyone is sad, but there is also hope: the children stay and thrive, and time can heal wounds ...
“WIE DIE LIEBE GEHT” is a film about the possibilities and impossibilities of love. In the end, everything is different to how it was at the beginning for everyone.
