Ein Dokumentarfilm über einen leidenschaftlichen Gitarrenbauer und das magische Verhältnis zwischen Gitarristen und ihrem Instrument: Renommierte nationale und internationale Musiker erzählen von ihrem ganz persönlichen Verhältnis zu ihrer Duesenberg und versuchen zu ergründen, was die E-Gitarre an sich so besonders macht und warum sie am Anfang der Rockmusik steht. Ein Film über Leidenschaft und Erfindergeist, über das Einssein mit der Gitarre und den Rock’n’Roll.

A dream has come true for the self-made man Dieter “Atze“ Gölsdorf: Duesenberg is the brand name of his guitar made in Hanover, which has earned worldwide success. Besides the greatest German stars, the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan are also among his clients.
This is a documentary about a passionate guitar-maker and the magical relationship between guitarists and their instruments: renowned national and international musicians tell about their very personal relationship with their Duesenberg and try to explain what makes the E-guitar so special and why it marked the beginning of rock music. A film about passion and inventiveness, and about the unity between the guitar and the guitarist, and about rock'n'roll.
