Hautnah erleben die Zuschauer mit, wie Zirkusfamilie Endres das Leben eines “Fahrenden Volkes” meistert. Vom Aufbruch aus dem Winterquartier über all die vielen Vorstellungen in Dörfern und Stadtteilen bis zum bevorstehenden Ende der Saison zeigt die Reportage, wie schwierig, aber auch wie schön und zauberhaft der Alltag von Menschen ist, die mit einem Zirkus auf Reisen gehen.

Magic world of the circus - on the road with a circus family

In a report series and documentary the small family circus ”Aron” is accompanied on its 2002 tour through Lower Saxony. The audience vividly experiences the way in which the circus family Endres manages to cope with life as a ”travelling people”. From the point of leaving their winter quarters to all the many performances in villages and town districts up to the impending end of the season, the report not only portrays the difficulties faced by circus people on tour, but also the beauty and magic of their everyday lives.
