Der 17-jährige Leroy ist deutsch, kultiviert, brav ... und schwarz. Doch die Familie seiner ersten Freundin Eva beschert Leroy ein böses Erwachen. Denn Evas glatzköpfige Brüder erinnern Leroy brutal an seine Hautfarbe. Dennoch verleben beide einen turbulenten Sommer zwischen diversen weltanschaulichen Experimenten, einer missglückten Geburtstagsfeier, Travestien, Hörstürzen, einem Heliumballonunfall und einem knapp vereitelten Wellensittich-Mord. Doch dann werden Eva und Leroy zusammengeschlagen, und Eva trennt sich von ihm.

Am Ende kommt Leroy auf die Idee, wie man den Faschismus für immer beseitigen könnte: Man muss ihn, wie alle anderen Subkulturen, kommerzialisieren und ihn damit seiner Inhalte berauben. So endet die Geschichte mit der Erfolgsstory von „Skin’Sync“, der ersten Skinhead-Boygroup der Welt.

17 year-old Leroy is German, cultivated, well-behaved ... and black. But the family of his first girlfriend, Eva, has a rude awakening in store for him. For Eva’s skinhead brothers brutally remind Leroy of the colour of his skin. Even so, the two of them experience a turbulent summer between diverse ideological experiments, a birthday party that goes wrong, travesties, loss of hearing, a helium balloon accident and the last-minute prevention of a budgerigar murder. But then Eva and Leroy get beaten up, and Eva leaves him.

In the final event, Leroy has an idea how to eradicate fascism for good: as in the case of all other subcultures, you have to commercialise it and hence rob it of its contents. And so the tale ends with the success story of “Skin’Sync“, the world’s first skinhead boy group.
