Am 03. Juli 2013 gehen in Kairo mehrere Tausend Menschen auf die Straße, um für und gegen den amtierenden Präsidenten Mohamed Mursi zu protestieren. Die Polizei und das Militär schlagen die Proteste gewaltsam nieder. Dreißig Menschen mit unterschiedlichen politischen Meinungen und religiösen Hintergründen werden verhaftet und einen höllischen Tag lang in einem Polizeieinsatzwagen festgehalten. In der Sommerhitze und eingepfercht auf nur wenigen Metern haben die untereinander zutiefst Verfeindeten nur eine Chance: Sie müssen sich verständigen und ihre Unterschiede überwinden.
On 3 July 2013 several thousand people take to the streets in Cairo to protest for and against the President-in-Office Mohamed Mursi. The police and the army forcefully quash the demonstrations. Thirty people with different political opinions and religious backgrounds are arrested and held captive a hellish day long in a police assault vehicle. In the summer heat and crammed together in a space of only a few metres, the arch enemies have only one option: they must communicate with each other and overcome their differences.
